Krista Rossato

Krista has an honours degree in Interior Design (BID), from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, and a BA in History in Art from the University of Victoria.  She is a Registered Interior Designer (RID), an active professional member of the Interior Designers Institute of BC, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED-AP).

Krista founded her own design company in 2003 and quickly established her reputation for functional, innovative interiors with a strong attention to detail and customer service.  She brings to her projects expertise gained through working with design teams in Vancouver and Victoria, in both the private and public sectors.  More than experience alone, it is Krista’s innovative thinking and creative hands-on approach to design that sets her work apart.  She has designed, constructed, and marketed her own products for living in both Toronto and on the west coast and continues to explore various mediums as sources of design inspiration.

Born and raised in Victoria, BC., Krista’s interest in architecture and design were sparked at a young age after participating in a cultural exchange to Japan.  Her interest in travel later took her to such places as Thailand, Hong Kong, Turkey, Israel and Lithuania, as well as an 8-month backpack trip throughout Europe.  Today she enjoys an active rural lifestyle with interests in gardening, the workshop, and the exploration of all places and things.
